India Tour with Natan Dotan Photography, offers a unique outdoor india photography workshop experience to exciting destinations across the country.this is one of our best Photography Workshops 2015 .Our exploration of India will take us to places that are rarely seen by outsiders as we delve deep into this ancient culture with its rich heritage and traditions culture and visit the many villages , schools and much more through which we can explore the real India and meet with rural villagers and got to know about their daily life routine. This is an ultimate experience for those who love to explore the Real India.
Introducing Natan Dotan – Our Host for the Tour :
Natan is an experienced Israeli photographer, Natan is a former business man, He abandoned business to focus on wildlife and travel photography. He published coffee table photography books on Kenya, Tanzania,Ethiopia,India and middle east demonstrating the breadth of his photography knowledge and diversity of my life experiences.. He is an Associate member of the Royal Photographic Society and lifelong East Africa and India enthusiast. At the very heart of his photography is an exuberant passion for India and having traveled extensively throughout the region, he is an insightful perception of local cultures. he also have an enthusiastic interest in wildlife and birds life adding an extra dimension to the photographic angle he brings. his interests are in documentary, travel and street photography .Natan’s photos from previous Indian photography workshops can be seen at : WILDDOTAN.COM

Day 01: Arrive Delhi
that’s the beginning of our india photography workshop
Upon your arrival at Delhi International Airport. A representative of our company will welcome our guests at the Delhi Airport and transport them to our hotel. After the check-in process at the hotel, our guests will have the opportunity to relax. Dinner in the evening followed by an organizational meeting with Natan Dotan where Natan shares some tips about photography and overnight at hotel.
Day 02: Delhi Sightseeing
our india photography workshop first Morning start with visiting the of Old Delhi –Visit Raj Ghat, a simple memorial to Mahatma Gandhi, drive past the Red Fort continuing to the Jama Masjid by walk and it is the ultimate place for photographers where you can capture the amazing pictures of this crowded area, and later visit the spice market , it’s a very beautiful spot of photography and interact with the labours people who struggle there for their livelihood but the most Spectacular thing is that there amatory smile , their SMILING FACE J no matter what’s the situation they are working . The tour continues to Jama Masjid, one of Asia’s largest mosques and which is viewed from the outside. drive pass out side through The Red Fort, President’s house and the Secretariat buildings, India Gate – The War Memorial, Humanyu Tomb & Qutub Minar and after exploring the beauty of Delhi , back to hotel. Evening again share your photographs with Natan and get some more information and tips. Overnight at hotel
Day 03: Delhi – Agra ( drive about 04hrs / 210kms )
our India Photography Tours starts today with a breakfast and straight drive to the city of loves, Agra is home to the World’s ultimate monument to love, the Taj Mahal. Dreamily positioned on the banks of the Yamuna River, its pale dome and minarets seem to float over the river, catching every nuance of light and shade. It was commissioned by Shah Jahan in 1632 to house the remains of his beloved wife, Mumtaz Mahal, and took 17 years to build, working with India’s finest pietra dura craftsmen who inlaid the gleaming white marble with semi-precious stones. Other Agra sights include the mighty Agra Fort, reflecting the Mughals at their most martial;On arrival visit the Agra fort and evening free to stroll on Street / City for Photography and overnight at hotel.
Day 04: Agra – Fatehpur Sikri – Abhaneri – Jaipur (drive about 265kms / 06hrs drive )
We start our Nature Photography Workshops with an Early Morning visit the sunrise view of world famous Mausoleum – The Taj Mahal, an unique epitome of Love built by Moghul Emperor Shahjahan in 1630 for his queen Mumtaz Mahal to enshrine her mortal remains. A Sahajahan”s drop of tear on the cheek of Time that has now crystallized. Later drive to the pink City Jaipur Enroute visit the deserted city of Mughal emperor – Fatehpur Sikri(40 KMS from Agra) built by Emperor Akbar in 1569 and abandoned it just after 15 years due to the scarcity of water. Visit the graceful buildings – The punch Mahal, Anup Talab,Diwan-e- Khas, Tomb of the holy saint Salim Chisti, Buland Darwaza and other important palaces where one experiences not only the Architectural brilliance but also its perfect fusion and later visit the Abhaneri , a great wells which were built by local people often astonish the tourists. These wells were built with a purpose of rainwater harvesting. Also visit the village and time for photography on arrival transfer to hotel. Dinner and overnight in Hotel.
Day 05: Jaipur
Morning after breakfast at 0730hrs, visit to Amber Fort, the ancient Capital of the state until 1728. Enjoy the Elephant ride up to the hill on which the Fort is situated. And do the ultimate Photography while climbing the fort on Elephants
Visit the Jagmandir or the hall of victory, Jaimahal (Look at the beautiful mirror work and intricate inlay work) and the Temple of Goddess Kali.
Later city sightseeing tour visiting Maharaja’s City Palace and the Observatory. Drive pass Hawa Mahal or the Palace of winds through the rose – pink residential and business areas of Jaipur and time to photography and also visit the water palace and do the street photography. Later go for textile photography and see the demonstration of Rug Factory where you will see the live demonstration of work.
Later if time permit then we will visit the Monkey Temple ( Galta Ji ) about 15kms from Jaipur where we will meet with many monkeys and its is also a great spot for photography with very less traveler. Evening stroll in local bazaar / market / Jaipur streets to cover the wonderful memories in your camera and overnight at Hotel.
Day 06: Jaipur – Bikaner ( 07hrs drive / 330kms )
Early morning after breakfast straight drive to Bikaner, Enroute visit many small villages and on arrival transfer to hotel. Later visit Junagarh : Built in 1593 A.D. by Raja Rai Singh, a general in the army of Emperor Akbar, the fort is a formidable structure encircled by a moat and has some beautiful palaces within. These palaces, made in red sandstone and marble, make a picturesque ensemble of courtyards, balconies, kiosks and windows dotted all over the structure and also visit the elegant palaces, stunningly painted havelis, and Camel Breeding Farm & Research Centre which is only one in Asia of its one kind.
Day 07: Bikaner – Deshnok – Jaisalmer
Early Morning after breakfast straight drive to the deserted city Jaisalmer Enroute visit Rat Temple ( Karni Mata Temple )at Deshnoke is a renowned centre for rat worship. The 600 years old temple is home to thousands of black, grey and white rats or Kaba. An image of Karni Mata, a manifestation of Goddess Durga, is depicted holding trident in her hand. It is believed the Goddess Durga lived at this place during 14th century and performed miracles. On arrival at Jaisalmer visit the Sam dunes for photography and back to hotel. Overnight at hotel.
Day 08: Jaisalmer – Manvar
Morning after breakfast Visit the Fort, Bazars and the old mansions known as “Havelis”. People still live in these ancient buildings dating from 12th to 15th century. Every house has exquisite carvings and filigreed work and later continue drive to Manvar (a hidden deserted place ) Welcome to the great Indian Thar Desert in magical Rajasthan. A truly luxurious and memorable experience, far removed from the chaos of the modern world on arrival once again get ready with your cameras and we will capture many fascinating moments with the sunset and also enjoy the camel ride Manvar,Evening enjoy the dinner with Rajasthani Dance show, and also take a part in dance show and overnight in TENTS.
Day 09: Manvar – Jodhpur ( 02hrs drive / 106kms )
our India photography workshop continue today with an Early morning wake up and capture some magical sunrise picture in desert and after breakfast get ready for the highlight of the Manvar desert experience – an adventurous drive in rugged four wheel jeeps where one will scramble and climb over dunes and higher crests. As small convoy vehicles track up and down the dunes, invariably getting stuck, part of the fun is ‘digging out’ and enjoying the soft sand under your feet before you are back in the car and off again and also visit the village walk for photography and continue drive to the blue majestic City – JODHPUR. On arrival visit the Mehrangarh Fort and Jaswant thada and evening stroll in local bazaar / market for photography overnight in Hotel.
Day 10: Jodhpur – Kolkata ( via Delhi ) ( ETD 1220hrs & ETA 1740hrs )
Early morning once again stroll on street and capture photos and back to hotel after breakfast transfer to airport to catch the flight for Kolkata via Delhi. On arrival transfer & overnight in Hotel.
Day 11: Kolkata
Morning after breakfast visit the full day sightseeing tour of Flower Market, Dalhousie Square, St John’s Church St. Paul’s Cathedral – Constructed between 1839 and 1847, the Cathedral is the principal place of worship for the Christians of Kolkata. Don’t miss the stained glass work inside the cathedral.,Victoria Memorial, An impressive building that dates back to the days when the British ruled India, the Victoria Memorial is a memorial of Queen Victoria of the United Kingdom. It currently serves as a museum which houses Victoria memorabilia, British Raj paintings and other displays and is a major tourist attraction. Built of white marble, the building is an aesthetic mix of the best of British and Mughal architecture. Kalighat Temple, Mother Teressa House, Indian Museum and evening free to stroll in local bazaar / market and overnight at hotel.
Day 12: Kolkata – Varanasi (by Fly ) ( ETD 1630hrs & ETA 1820hrs )
Morning after breakfast Sightseeing of Kumhartuli – the area of potter ( ) where the icons of Durga are sculpted and painted. Here we will learn about the rituals that surround the creation of the icons themselves, such as the gathering of the clay and the Chakshu Daan, or Offering of the Eyes.,Belur Math, Dakishneshwar Kali Temple later drop at Airport to catch the flight for Varanasi. On arrival transfer & overnight in Hotel.
Day 13: Varanasi
Early morning boat ride along the River Ganges and see the famous bathing ‘ghats’, the stone steps which lead down to the river where you can watch the gathered faithful, ritually cleansing themselves and after visit the city and stroll on Ghats and also visit the oldest BHU – Banaras Hindu University and transfer to hotel after breakfast visit the Sarnath, 10kms from Varanasi where it is said Lord Buddha preached his first sermon, setting in motion the Wheel of Law and evening attend the most spiritual Hindus Aarti ceremony on Ghats and do the photography & overnight in Hotel.
Day 14: Varanasi – Delhi (by Fly ) ETD 1040hrs & ETA 1215hrs.
Morning after breakfast stroll in street and later after breakfast transfer to Airport to catch the flight for Delhi. On arrival transfer & evening attend the Final workshop with Natan and share your photographs and enjoy the Gala Dinner & overnight at hotel.
Day 15: Delhi – Departure.
Morning after breakfast transfer to Airport to catch the flight for onward destinations.
